Bus donated to Mentor2Youth!

Thanks to Silver Maples Senior Living Community and Chelsea First United Methodist Church, a 25 passenger bus was recently donated to Mentor2Youth. This bus will be utilized to provide transportation for youth who do not have access to our programs during the school year and summer in addition to be utilized for fieldtrips and events. Emmanuel Jones shared, “We will be forever grateful to Julie and her team at Silver Maples and Jeanne and her wonderful youth ministry. This is a game changer for Mentor2Youth and now transportation will no longer be a barrier for any child who is in need of our services in Washtenaw County.”

The goal is to raise $10,000 in order to maintain the proper licensing, insurance, cover cost of repairs/maintenance and pay bus drivers for the vehicle. Those interested in making a contribution towards our bus can visit our donate page at our website. If you might be interested in becoming a bus sponsor, please reach out to Emmanuel at ejones@mentor2youth.com or call 734-905-7955.
